How can Non-Profit Sponsorship increase
your business sales?
Isn't it true that many of us who give money to a non-profit organization view that contribution as a donation. We give the money because we believe it’s a worthy cause. Although, its a tax write-off, we can't simply be donating to non-profit organizations all the time. We're simply not in business to give money but most importantly to make money. So what if we are able to change the concept of donating to one of advertising value.
What if you were to donate to a non-profit organization and because of your donation you were promoted through various marketing campaigns that the non-profit organization has developed to promote itself. The truth is that this non-profit organization needs to advertise, the organization needs to let others know about the services they offer, if they fail in letting others know about there services, they too can go out of business.
Lets give you an example… ABC non-profit organization has a special market they reach and currently has a database of 5000 individuals who can currently benefit from there services. They decide to develop a monthly mailing campaign but once they review the cost involved in developing a mailing campaign they need to get a little more creative as to how they will have the necessary funds.
Now, you the business owner also can benefit from the 5000 individuals who can benefit from ABC's services. So ABC tells you that by donating to their organization they will add you as an advertiser to there mailing list and place a full color 1/4 page ad to their monthly mailing campaign.
Isn't this a win-win situation? You receive advertising value for your contribution, which can eventually turn into possible sales for your business and the non-profit organization defrays the cost of mailing and gets their message across to their targeted market. The concept behind this becomes a little more complex but essentially it creates a win-win situation for both a standard business and a non-profit organization.
