Four Graphic Mistakes you Should Avoid

  1. Use color whenever possible.

Several years ago color printing was expensive but now with advances in technology color printing is more affordable.  Color will create a more lasting first impression for your future clients, unless your business uses a black and white color scheme as part of its graphic appearance… you should always aim to use color in your logo and your graphic printing.

  1. Avoid plain one color business cards.

Your business card is your first impression… would you wear a basic, casual outfit to an important job interview?  Your business card is that great outfit that you would wear to that ever important job interview.  Don’t settle for just any card especially when you are just beginning your business.  New customers are just beginning to know you, show them you are serious about your business with a powerful graphic appearance.

  1. Keep a consistent appearance.

Make sure that your logo is the same in all of your printing, which includes your business cards, brochures and website.  Make sure that your color scheme and fonts are identical throughout.

  1. Invest time and money into your graphic appearance.

Don’t overlook the importance of this step… remember no one needs to know that you’re just getting started.  You’ll be surprised how many people invest time and money on their location, business setup, inventory and much more but when you look at their graphic appearance it doesn’t demonstrate the same dedication to their business; and like previously mentioned it is their first impression.
