Increase your business through Cause-Related
Marketing with the Community Health Mission

The Community Health Mission (CHM) is currently a non-profit organization that offers FREE primary healthcare to approximately 10,000 uninsured residents of Savannah.  Although, the major contributor to this organization is Memorial Health, the services offered to the community have continued to grow over the past 2 years causing CHM to continue to search for more funding.  We also receive funding from private donations and grants, but even still, more and more people are in need of the FREE services that we offer.
There has been many local businesses and corporate entities that have aided our organization like Gulfstream and Pfizer Health Solutions.  We understand that most companies have a limited budget for donating to non-profit organizations.  In response to this budgeting obstacle we are creating what we believe is a more lucrative relationship between us and local businesses and larger corporations, with the assistance of a marketing company we are establishing a cause-related marketing program that will benefit both the Community Health Mission and the business owner.
We are looking for businesses that market primarily to working women.  The majority of the 10,000 people that we service are working women, not to mention the thousands of volunteer supporters who help spread the word about CHM.  This is our demographic and we want to market new programs, services, education information and much more to them.  This presents your business with an opportunity to also promote your products and services to them.
In the course of the next few months we will be developing these new marketing tools.  While we urge you to consider and review our future marketing development  we ask you to also familiarize yourself with our organization. We work closely with Volunteers in Medicine and currently have 51 physicians and nurses who voluntarily dedicate their time to CHM and treat thousands of working Americans.
I would like to invite you to meet with Jose Rosa and myself at the Community Health Mission so that you can ask questions about the facility and see how your business can involve itself more with the Community Health Mission.  We thank you for taking this time to consider your business involvement with our organization.
Sincerely,

Miriam Urizar Rittmeyer, MD, PhD, MPH
